STANDARD OF NURSING

• Standard Nursing is a statement describing the desired performance level, so the quality of structure, process and outcomes can be assessed. Standards of nursing care means a statement of quality refrigerated and can be assessed nursing care to patients / clients. The relationship between quality and standards into two things are inextricably linked, because through quantifiable standards as proof of service increases and deteriorating (Wilkinson, 2006)

• Every day, nurses work according to standards - standards that exist such as designing needs and the amount of power based on the volume of work, the standard equalization and distribution of patients in specialized units, educational standards for professional nurse as a condition for entry and practice in the order of professional nursing services (Suparti, 2005)

• The purpose and benefits of standard nursing care are essentially measure the quality of care nurses' performance and effectiveness of the organization's management. In the development of standard approaches and frameworks are widespread and can be styled who is responsible for developing the standard of how the development process. Standards of care focused on patient outcomes, standards of practice, performance-oriented professional nurses to empower the nursing process. Financial standards must also be developed in the management of nursing that can benefit patients, the nursing profession and service organizations (Kawonal, 2000).

• Nurses always maintains good relations with fellow nurses as well as to other health professionals, and in maintaining the harmony of the work environment or atmosphere in achieving the goals of the health care
• Nurses act to protect clients from health professionals who provide health services incompetent, unethical and illegal.
