Understanding:
An
activity to prepare patients both physically and spiritually as well as
equipment to be used in surgery
Aim :
1. Preparing the patient to be cooperative
2. Prevent the occurrence of infections and
complications
3. Help smooth surgery
Procedure :
1. Pre-interaction stage:
a.
Verify
the patient's nursing care program
b.
Prepare
the nurse in interacting with the patient
2. Orientation stage:
a.
Give
greetings
b.
Explain
the purpose of the meeting and the procedure to be performed
3. Patient Preparation
a.
Analyze
patient's anxiety about surgery.
b.
Patients
and families are given an explanation of the action to be taken.

Help
patients & families to relieve the anxiety

Preparation
of the patient

Patient
/ family is given an explanation of the action to be performed

for ACC surgery, or not done on the doctor doctor's instructions.

physician / GP physician / doctor Polyclinic reports pro-surgery patient as
indicated on DPJP surgical duty and anesthesia doctor in charge of surgery
g.
The
DPJP surgeon and anesthesiologist in charge of the surgery perform an initial
visite of the preoperative patient

Change
the patient's clothes and put on the headgear
i.
Check
the completeness of medical devices and medicines and blood needed for surgery
j.
Take
the patient to the surgical room when the equipment, the attendant and the
surgical room are ready
6. Termination stage:
a.
Thank
you for the cooperation with the patient

Evaluate
client response

Summarize
the results of the activity

Clean
up the tools and put them in place
